A striped paisley print design wrapper dress, with black velvet collar, cuffs and detachable belt. Includes small puff upper sleeves, a full length front closure and buttoned underbodice. There is a princess cut (no waist seam) back, with additional tightly pleated fabric attached at the center waist, falling in full folds. Dated late 19th century.
Black with white spot cotton wrapper dress, with full length front closure and a buttoned underbodice. The garment was likely used as maternity wear. Includes a frilled round collar, gigot ("leg of mutton" puffed) sleeves and princess style back. Dated circa 1895.

It is trimmed with ribbon bows, and includes three bands of ruching across skirt front, and a princess back flaring below the waist. A detachable belt adds dimension to the waistline. The inside shows the waist was expanded by alterations. Dated circa 1865.
